Focus on IT project support services: Our niche is our strength! We focus on skillsets that we ourselves as founders have proven expertise.
Cost-effective personal interaction with local consultant presence: Personal interaction provides businesses with a level of comfort not available with remote consultants. While this local presence and personal interaction is highly valued, business owners are often unable to afford the cost associated with bringing consultants to them from other areas. We plan to live and work within the DC Metro area.
Pre-assignment Readiness Training: This training lays the groundwork and foundation for ensuring that the consultant is not only a good fit for the client experience wise but also gives leadership an opportunity to validate soft skills, communication, functional knowledge, professional presence (dress, etc.)
Engagement Management: Very often when firms place a consultant at a client site, there is follow-up for additional sales opportunities but no significant amount of time is spent focusing on whether or not the client is pleased with the support that is being provided and satisfied with the performance of the consultant. As part of the engagement management strategy, leaders from Sylver Rain will schedule recurring status calls with the client to ensure that their needs are being met.
Continuous Employee Coaching and Support: Often times, after being placed at a client site, the role can continue to evolve. For the consultant, it may possibly expand beyond their level of comfort. Firms typically place consultants but rarely follow up to see if the consultant has the necessary tools to continue to perform the job as expected. To assist with this need, Sylver Rain Consulting will provide additional coaching and training as needed.
